I love it ,going to be used for a fishing trip to Canada, looks amazing and looks built tough exactly what I was looking for plus reading the reviews it seems like customer service is on point all the reasons I purchased a Ridge bag .thank you
I purchased the large duffel bag in October of 2024. After 7 months of heavy abuse the back pack straps on the bag started to separate from the bag. This is obviously not a big deal and is due to heavy use, I emailed ridgebelts customer service and they completely replace the bag on their dime and were amazing men to deal with. I cannot recommend this product enough! The bag is awesome and keeps my gear dry and protected from the elements. For any person that hunts or fishes this is the bag for you!
Bought the duffle to strap onto the back of my kayak for river camping. Its perfect for me. Just by holding this I can tell its high quality material. The welds all look perfect. Size wise this thing is a beast. It'll hold my clothes, tent and sleeping bag with room to spare. The dimensions are exactly what I was looking for too. Its not short and high, it's long and narrow. (no Diddy) Overall I love this bag. If I ever need to purchase another one I'm 100% going to be a returning customer.
Overall I am satisfied with this product, but do have one gripe against it. To test it, I zipped the main zipper and the two side zippers as tight as possible with pieces of toilet paper inside each pocket and placed the bag in my shower for 10 minutes. I knew before starting the test that the side zippers would absolutely not be waterproof. The main zipper is a nice, tight scuba style zipper, but the side pocket zippers are not; they’re much thinner and not waterproof. They’re basically just normal zippers with light “waterproof” tape along the zipper. Upon opening the side pockets, I found the pieces of toilet paper completely soaked. I don’t understand why the side pockets don’t have the same 100% waterproof zipper as the main compartment. This makes the side pockets essentially useless for anything not waterproof during heavy rainfall. Maybe they would be fine during a light drizzle, but I’m not positive. However, I still really like this product. The main compartment was COMPLETELY dry. Not one droplet of water was inside. I love the neutral color and the size. It’ll be perfect for a weekend hunt holding all of my camo and boots. The quality seems good but might be a bit thin if you’re running it through rough brush or throwing it around fishing hooks. At this price though it’s a great deal (half the price of Yeti’s waterproof duffel and nearly double the size) and I highly recommend it for most outdoorsmen looking for a simple waterproof bag!
Absolutely love it!!
